Well, here is another old one. This one is of heather from Silent Hill 3. I like the shading in this one, I wish I could do just as good in my original stuff. But I really do hate the hair, it's way off. But anyway, here you go.
Seriously, I believe that you made Heather look more realistic than the game. Like what you said, the hair is a little off, but it isn't a major distraction. It's barely noticeable. Ah, I should shut up. I speak as if I can shade hair. -_-;;
Anywho, great job! The darkness suits the picture well since it is from a horror game. Your shading is smooth and blends well together. And I love how you drew her hand. I can't draw hands for shat.
thanks, the hands and legs are my favorite. When my mom seen it, she said, "I wish I had those legs!" Anyway, thanks for saying it looks more realistic than the game, I tried to change the hair to make it seem more realistic.
Amazing shading in this piece!! Very realistic overall. Her hair is bit unusual: think it may just be because the rest is SO realitically rendered and the hair seems a bit too defined compared to the rest of her. Overall though, beautiful pencil work!

thanks, this was the darkest drawing I've drawn, I definately need to do some more so I'll get more of an idea of how shading works (there's like three more different shots of her)
Great drawing I love the strong contrasts in it, it creates a nice dramatic effect. And I think the hair looks more than ok. It seems a bit more defined than the rest of the drawing, which creates a nice focal point. It certainly doesn't stand out as a problem in my eyes.
Keep up the great use of shading, I think that this is one of the best pieces in your gallery

You did a great job on the shading. It really conveys they drab spookiness of Silent Hill.
Kudos.
