Repeating birdie

Well here's another project I did. This was first time I painted in quite awhile (and it was such a pain, since this painting has so many shapes!). I was supposed to make a type of shape and repeat it over and over on a gessoed(?) mat board then paint all the shapes a different color. I did the colors in a complimentary color scheme. I don't even know how long it took to make this, but it felt like forever. T___T

I hope it isn't too overwhelming; I shouldn't have made so many shapes.
